How great LOVE is!

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and all the others including Love. One day, they received a warning that the island would sink, so all prepared their boats and left the island. Only Love decided to stay behind. Love wanted to wait until the last possible moment before leaving.

The island had almost sunk, so Love decided to ask for help. Riches passed by and Love said, "Riches, can you take me with you?" Riches answered: "No, I can't! There's a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place for you."

Then came Vanity in a very beautiful vessel. "Vanity, help me!" cried Love.
"Sorry, I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and you might just damage my boat!" shouted Vanity.

Sadness was getting closer so Love asked for help again. but Sadness replied: "Oh, Love, I am so sad that I need to be alone by myself."

Happiness was just behind so Love cried again for help. But Happiness was so happy to hear Love's cry.

Suddenly, there was a voice. "Come, Love, I will rescue you and bring you to a safer place. Love was so overjoyed and felt so blessed that Love forgot the savior's name.

When they arrived at the dry land, Love's savior went his own way. Realizing how much Love owed the savior, it asked Knowledge, an elder, "Who helped me?"

"It was Time," Knowledge answered. "But why did Time help me?" again asked Love. Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and said: "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is!"
